Accepted Credit Cards

Hi -
I have updated my shopping cart configuration so that only VISA and Master Card are selected as credit cards that I accept.
Today a customer placed an order using Discover and the cart accepted the information.
Is there a way to block Discover/AMX credit cards from being entered AND have an error message appear stating that only VISA & MC are accepted?
